The process involves building layers of resin, which can create a minimally faceted finish on both shallow curves and angles depending on the orientation of the part in the machine (see diagram), however, both horizontal and vertical faces will retain an excellent finish. This also affects the part cost, as the size Z-axis will dominate the run time of the machine. A minimal Z-axis (height) of the model will ensure the fastest build time and lowest cost per part. For the best results it is recommended to discuss orientation of your model or prototype when ordering.
