Rules and Regulations

  1. Every time a client uses the 3D Printing services from IDC Models they will accumulate points, which correspond with the amount of money spent in British Pounds Sterling.
  2. Every pound spent on an 3D Printing will be the equivalent of one point added to your membership.
  3. You will not be allowed to trade your points for cash under any circumstances.
  4. Your card is proof of your membership – please keep this in your possession.
  5. The unique number printed on your card will be your proof of identity and membership in any correspondence with IDC Models. Please keep this number for future reference.
  6. When you redeem your points, any excess points left over will be carried forward to create your new balance.
  7. Should you wish to check the prizes, you can do so on the IDC Models website www.idcmodels.com or alternatively you can request a brochure to be sent to you.
  8. Points can be accumulated up to five years and must be spent after that period.
  9. Should you not use your membership for 2 consecutive years, we will write to notify you that your membership will expire within two months of that date if any SLA’s have not been ordered.
  10. Prizes are subject to change and IDC Models discretion.
  11. Prizes will take 14-28 days to deliver.
  12. It is your responsibility to notify IDC Models of any company or individual changes that may occur during your membership with IDC Models. This includes change of address and contact details.
  13. The IDC Models membership lies with the company and not the individual.
  14. This competition is open to residents of the UK only.

Terms and Conditions

IDC Models is a wholly owned division within Industrial Design Consultancy Limited (IDC). IDC and its division IDC Models are principally involved in product design and model making. It operates in Datchet, Berkshire, United Kingdom.

Welcome to the IDC Model’s Premier Membership and thank you for choosing to become a member. This document contains a summary of the key provisions affecting the members. These terms and conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including promotional materials. English law applies to our relationship with you.

Purpose of the Premier Membership

This membership exists in order to give our clients a beneficial service when using IDC Models’ Stereolithgraphy (SLA) services. IDC believes in long-term business relationships and strives to make your business interaction as pleasurable as possible.

1. Application for membership

Membership is open to any individual or company who has purchased 3D Printing part. A potential member can either request a membership number and card, or they will be sent this card with their 3D Printing order. You can apply by phoning the number you find in the contact information page.

1.1 Membership card details

As an individual or as a company, you will receive a membership card with your unique number. This number must be kept to quote in any future dealings you have with IDC Models. This is vital in order to keep track with your points.

1.2 Ownership of the card

The IDC Models Membership card is issued by and remains the property of Industrial Design Consultancy Ltd. Your card is evidence of your membership and you may be required to produce this in certain circumstances.

The membership card is not a credit card, cheque guarantee card, debit card or a savings account.

1.3 Joint Membership

Joint membership will be allowed under certain circumstances, should there be more than one individual in the same company who wishes to order SLA’s exclusively to the other member, a card with the same number may be issued to this individual at IDC’s discretion. The points will be credited to the company and not to the individuals.

1.4 Change of personal or Company details

If your personal or company address and contact details should change, please contact IDC Models and update your details. You can do this via e-mail or telephone. You will be asked your unique membership number in order to confirm the change of details.

1.5 Card usage

The membership card will be in possession of the company and not the individual. Should the individual representing the company not be able to do so for any reason – the card will transfer to the next employee. The card is otherwise non-transferable, in other words, the card may not accompany the individual to their next place of work or be used as a personal incentive.

All points rewarded and redeemed will be awarded to the company invoiced and not the employee or representative.

We do not have to accept that anyone apart from the company holding the membership number has any right or interest in the prizes given by using your card.

1.8 Changes to the membership scheme

IDC reserves the right to make changes to the conditions of the membership at any time without giving you notice and at our discretion.

2. Earning points

To earn points you must present your card or quote your unique membership number. If you make orders over the telephone or via e-mail correspondence you must quote your membership card number to earn points. If you do not quote this number your points may not be credited.

2.1 IDC Models services excluded from the scheme

You will not earn points on the following services at IDC as well as IDC Models. Points are earned only for the full price 3D Printing order, based on prices calculated by IDC 3D Printing Instant Quote, which can be found on www.idcmodels.com

  • Any services at Industrial Design Consultancy
  • Injection Moulding
  • Vacuum Casting
  • Model Building
  • Any other non-SLA prototypes
  • Will no include post-finishing’s, painting, or other modifications to 3D Printing parts.

2.3 Refund or return of goods

If you order 3D Printing from us and return it for a refund (or cancel the order) we may remove/amend any points you have earned from your card. When a product refund is made after points are issued, the will be subtracted from the total amount.

3. Qualifying and receiving your Prizes

Your prize payout is dependant on the value of qualifying transactions you have made with IDC Models. You must have remained a member on the date of issue or all points will become null and void. Points are awarded upon full payment of the qualifying order.

4. Exchanging vouchers for cash

You will not, under any circumstances, be allowed to exchange your prize for cash – this includes holiday vouchers and day-experiences.

5. Lost or Stolen Cards

If your card had been lost or stolen please inform IDC Models, we will issue you with a new card as well as a new unique number.

6. Our responsibility to you

Your data will always be safe with us. IDC Models will only use your information to:

  • Issue you with prizes
  • Provide the services you need
  • Improve the quality of our services to you
  • Provide you with offers that we believe will interest you

7. Cancellation of membership

We value your membership, however, IDC Models reserves the right to cancel your membership if you do not purchase goods or services from IDC Models for a period of one year. We will write to you at your last known address and give you two months notice of cancellation.

There may be circumstances where we believe it is inappropriate for a company to remain in membership/be a member. We reserve the right to cancel an individual’s membership in such circumstances, although we will always communicate the reasons to the member and provide them with the opportunity to discuss this with us before taking a final decision.

You may cancel your membership by calling IDC Models and quoting your unique number. All point accumulated will fall away.

8. Points

Where orders are placed and points earned, the points awarded form an integral part of the transaction.
